Holly K-rist... my effing K-co-teacher informs me K-ristmas eve the landloard (school board administrator) wants me to move... I've been in this place since Sept. and just have it fixed up the way I want it.

K-ristmas morning - no effing LPG (runs ondol, hot water and stove)... I have a friend visiting from out of town and I'm going to cook Christmas dinner with no effing gas.

Welcome to effing K-land.

Japan should reinvade. Cool

You have got to be kidding us? Are you teaching in a public school? I feel very bad for you.

I would be irate as this is an enormous insult to inconvenience you like this. How unreasonable. I would be pissed the hell off about this as it speaks volumes that you are not respected or wanted in your school for them to do this on Christmas. I know this a harsh thing to say, but I can't see it possible for this not to be intentionally directed at you to severely inconvenience you at one of the most special times of the year.

They turned off the utilities late last night on Christmas eve? What morons. It's fine to be told to move with at least a couple days to prepare and not on Christmas, but this is purely last minute nonsense on Christmas as they know you celebrate Christmas and highly value this day off with other western friends. They are intentionally giving you a hard time with no doubt about it. I would be pissed the hell off majorly and would lose face. Do file a complaint to your coordinator and EPIK, SMOE, or GEPIK head office, whichever one is relevant to your location. Hell, I might would demand to be removed from this school and put someplace where they do want an English teacher. This is uncalled for and is very unprofessional and you do have a reasonable complaint. I feel so bad for you and hope your next Christmas is much better than this tosser of a situation.

Cruisemonkey, Your avatar made me laugh so hard. The guy on there kinda looks like my husband. I especially like the piece of half eaten watermelon.

About the moving thing, that's just wrong!!!!!! Hope you get revenge.

I guess it's too late but a good idea for revenge would've been to leave pieces of fish in good hiding places so the apartment would smell like rotting fish.
