I hope they're given a harsh sentence. Not because they're foreigners, not really cause they're foreigners, but cause they brought drugs to Korea

so when are the people in korea doing things that might actually harm OTHER people going to receive harsh sentences? i'm thinking of the drunk drivers, the sidewalk drivers, the red-light runners, the random lane changers, the construction sites with no safety barriers, etc, etc, etc...

this place needs to get its priorities in order and stop being the USA's lapdog... how many people do cars kill annually? what about pot?

Alot of my friends have married Korean gals. Some parents are hip while some others are not. The latter get around to it because they meet the good person. Well, the herd has been thinned just a little bit more. For every choice in life, there are always consequences to consider. Thinking that one will outsmart everyone is the first mistake that criminals who get caught make.

Seriously, mailing weed to yourself, putting your own name and address on the box... I'm glad this person was caught. I do not care what other people buy/sell/put in their bodies, or even send in the mail, but really, I don't like it when people do things that inspire immigration to make the rules for everyone much more strict.

An interesting idea was brought up. Perhaps if you do not like a teacher at your school, you can have someone from back home FEDEX some weed to them, and watch as they serve 6 years in prison... I'll remember that the next time someone pisses me off in Korea!

I agree the laws should be better enforced but this does not excuse what the two morons who got busted did....

Because cars kill more people than pot it does not mean using or selling pot becomes legal or something to be overlooked. Narcotic cops bust drug users not car drivers.

Take it up with traffic cop if you want drunk drivers and dangerous drivers taken care of.

That's where the testing comes in. Once the mail is flagged, the police will let it through to your house. Then they show up with a warrant, and a piss test/hair follicle test. If you test positive, you're done.

Yep...thats pretty much standard procedure....and it would be effective. If they follow the package and test you and you come out positive they have a valid reason to at least investigate further....

A Korean was telling me that they now randomly stop people at Incheon airport for blood/urine tests because Koreans think most foreigners are doing drugs. Surely this isn't true or legal?

Back on topic. It's a really stupid thing for these guys to do and with the way Koreans report and react to these kind of incidents then it does make it more difficult for those of us who respect the laws of this country.

I hope the guys just get sent home and not imprisoned here but whatever happens they have brought it on themselves...

Unlikely to be true...and if someone claims it is I would like to see real proof of it....if it ends up being true it is retarded.

I don't think they could do it without arresting you on suspicion of something...

I live 90 minutes from Virginia Tech where dozens of my countrymen were slain by a Korean mass murderer. But at Incheon, the Koreans always get to watch me go through enhanced security screening. I haven't had to give blood or piss samples, but it wouldn't surprise me if other people have, unless they're Korean and then I would be astounded.

Let's face it, e slipping into the drink buddy is an idiot. Probably hoping for some extraordinary, no-holds barred sexual experience. Maybe he's getting that experience now!

For Koreans 'taking a walk on the wild-side' means slipping some Carpenters into the selection at the music room, or dropping a shot of soju into a beer.

Ecstasy and Korean co-worker is like putting rocket fuel in a Volkswagen. There is bound to be an explosion.

You might wish to determine the federal prison time for sending it before you pull that stunt. Outgoing packages are subject to Customs inspections in the country of origin also.

Just wondering, what do you think the guy slipping drugs into his GF's drink should get?
Assuming of course that those allegations are true.

If he really did slip E into her cup then ya, he deserves a swift kick in the nuts.

No one should be given any sort of drugs without prior knowledge. Although I sure as hell wouldn't complain if someone slipped a harsh cigarette into my pack of Dunhill Lights Laughing

But really. do you believe this story.

I mean the Korean girl most likely made up the story after she got caught.

But I wasn't there so hey!
