For those of you who didn't already know....www.gmarket.co.kr has an English site. But if you only search on the English site it doesn't bring as many products and options. If you do a search on the Korean site first, click on the items you want to see and then click on English Shop in the right hand corner of the website it takes you into the English site and a history of what you looked at in the Korean website will come up and it says "buy now". This website is so great. I look a lot of Western name brands up without having to type it in Korean. I've bought all of my Western baby products here (a Graco play yard, Dr. Brown's bottles, Fisher-Price vibrating chair, Playtex Vent Aire bottles, a Snugly, a sling, just to name a few things) and the prices are decent. I even found a board game (Risk) that was difficult to find in stores, for my husband's Christmas gift. They have a lot of Ikea items too. There are also a lot of foreign foods and spices you can order. I usually recieve my items in a couple of days and without delivery charges. When it doesn't bring up any results with an English word, I just look up the words in a Korean-English dictionary. GMarket really has one up on auction.co.kr by having an English website!

Kimbabworld, thanks. I knew about Gmarket's English portal, but haven't actually used it. I've always gotten a colleague to order things for me from there.

Don't fret over the negative message posters. Plenty of people probably found your message informative. Lots of people read and use information found on here, but it's likely they don't always post a thank you message. Be well!

I didn't know it and appreciate your posting it. People on this site are hateful because they can be hateful anonymously.

Could you please clarify to me how I am hateful when I simply stated that I knew about the information?

Or am I not included in the *being hateful* comment?

I think hateful is a bit over-the-top. I can understand why the poster may feel a bit peeved off though that, despite trying to be helpful, initial posters were not exactly allowing their Christmas spirit to propel their personalities in a positive direction.

Perhaps not "hateful", but certainly not useful to anyone reading this thread.
I appreciate the info, kimbabworld!

You certainly can't mean that you speak on behalf of everyone on this message board. Don't you see how this statement of your is both presumptuous and pesky?

There was no need for the comment apart from to try and belittle someone who was sharing some information that may be useful to other readers of this site. Why bother posting that you knew it already? Did youwant to try and start a poll of who already knew the information? It's the kind of tactic school bullies use and it amazes me so many people on here are like that.

Kimbabworld,

Well I greatly appreciated the helpful information that you posted....forget those that just want to put in their two cents when nobody really cares. I found it to be extremely helpful as I tend to give up if it requires me to have to read the webpage in korean. Now I know how to get the things I want a lot easier. Thanks!
