So i have currently been using Hanaro Telecom as my ISP, using the lite plan. Today i had a technician come to my apartment to upgrade me service to Fiber Lan, which is suppose to offer 100mbps with symmetrical throughput.
Unfortunatly the only service available to my area (Siji, Sinmae-Dong, Daegu) is the lite service, which has horrible speeds comparitivly. Does anyone know of a good service provider which is available in Siji that offers 100mbps with symmetrical throughput? It's important that my upload speed is comparible to my download for hosting Servers with my PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, as well has keep up my ratio on my torrent sites.

Not only does internet service depend on your area, but it also depends on the building you live in. Some are serviced better than others.
Unless someone comes forward with a specific company, i suggest calling the lot of tham and asking how fast the service is to your building.
KT Megapass may be a good place to start as they have a big infrastructure. |
