What's the best way to go about getting the cheapest airfare to a European city from Seoul if you're planning out several months in advance? I was told that going directly through the airlines sites of your destination country is the way to go, such as Luftansa, KLM, etc. However, I have also read the value of Korean travel agents on this site. Which is best? Both are likely cheaper than what I've seen on the U.S. based airfare consolidation websites.
Are there any Korean budget airlines that fly to Europe on the cheap? |

No budget airlines in Korea - it sucks but it's a protected industry in this country...
Exactly where and when are you flying to? Check out www.cathaypacific.com and choose Korea. They have some pretty good deals. |

Too expensive to fly from Incheon. But a budget airline flies from Busan to Macau two times every week.http://www.flyvivamacau.com/en/ |

Thanks for the info on CP, tzechuk. I'd have never thought of them when flying to AMS. I think KLM may be comparable but I don't know if either are including tax and I bet both are more expensive during high season.
I'm also looking at flights to PRG, however I think the cheapest way may be to fly to Paris or AMS and take a high-speed train. Unless someone knows a Seoul-PRG flight on the cheap. |

Austrian Air
Land in Vienna and catch a connecting flight to the Eastern Bloc
Don't forget Europe is full of discount airlines.
Not sure who or where they fly from to but it's not hard to google them. |

Ahh...Austrian Air. I didn't know they fly out of SK. They have had the hottest flight attendants in my experience, so hopefully they can get me a great deal. |

Those prices do not include tax. Last I heard, taxes out of Seoul to Europe are around 200K... which are very HIGH!! |
