Dear Student:

Thank you for your email. I appreciate the time and interest you took in writing it. I also appreciate that you concentrate and try hard in my class.

Your email contains a number of mistakes. I would consider raising your grade if you would rewrite your email to me with all or most of its mistakes corrected.

I await your corrected response.

Dear Student #453607,

A wise Korean man once sang, 'you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you get what you need.' Since you are Korean, I am sure you will understand these wise words.

Sincerely yours,

Dear XXX,

Grades are given on a deserving basis. You don't deserve higher than a B, so you won't get it.

Do you really want a grade that you didn't earn? Doesn't that cheapen the experience?

Dear student XXX,

I have hundreds of students. I can't be bothered to learn all of their names and I will not pretend to know who you are. If you want a higher grade I suggest you come see me in person. Bring an envelope with your name on it. Your parents will know what to put inside.

Sincerely,

teach-ah

Dear Student XXX,

Do you have a hot sister and a hot mum? Would the be interested in doing a$$ toa$$ with the 3 foot salami I picked up at Costco yesterday.

If so we may be able to discuss your grade being raised.

Yours,

Salami Wielding Hanson

That's why I gave him the opportunity to do extra work to raise his grade.

Dear XXX,

After careful review and consideration of your: attendance record, submitted work and exam results, I find your final grade may have been assigned in error.

Please reply using enclosed white envelope.

Sincerely,
Hanson

Dear Student,

I am about to teach you the most important lesson you will ever learn in life.

1. You listened well, handed in all your assignments, worked very hard...and you only have a B.

2. I am here teaching the likes of you.

The lesson?

LIFE CAN SUCK BALLS, DEAL WITH IT.

Dear Student,

I doubt very much that you listened carefully. What numbnut would write "So, give me B+ please TT".

Give me a fucking condo in London and a cottage in the Philippines, asswipe.

C=average, dumbass.

Dear Xxx Xxx-xxx,

This is perhaps one of the toughest decisions I have had to make in my entire teaching career.

How does one weigh active participation, attendance, submitted work results and tests grades against the final grade one has received.

After long and deep thoughts.... Oh wait! I did that at the beginning of the course and decided that already.

So the answer is no. I will not change your grade.

Dear XXXX,

If you can explain to me, clearly and in proper English, why I am not going to give this grade to you, I will give you the grade you requested.

(I'd just want to see what he came up with..)
