So, I was at my local supermarket a few hours ago and I was waiting in line to get served. First an old lady stepped in front of me. Meh..it's new years eve, I let it slide. Then a man stepped in front of both of us. I wasn't happy about waiting in line longer but at least the old lady got hers. A worker of the supermarket was in line behind me buying something. I was about to buy for my goods when she grabbed my apples and started chattering. Now, I didn't know what was going on but I've learned to take things in stride here in Korea. So I let it continue. She talked some more and then she showed me what the problem was; there was a sizeable brown spot on one of them. She took them away and came back with some new ones.

Not much of a story really, kind of like time spent in Korea.

Just Joking.

Here's to another year in the Korea.

Happy New years everyone.

Didn't you know, brown spots on apples cause cancer. You'd better increase your kimchi intake quickly if you happen to ingest any past-prime apples.

Personally I think it's great when Korean women handle my apples, not to mention plumbs.
