I know we have a few recruiters on Dave's. How are things going for you guys? Have the new visa rules become a bother yet, or has the bother been delayed until March 15? Are you still finding as many new people are out there searching for jobs, or have the numbers been squelched? Do you feel as if your job has become 10 times more stressful?
With the NOVA blow-up in Japan, I have to think there are a few more teachers out there to pull from.
Are the new visa regulations really that difficult? |

most recruiters are korean and do not speak/read/write English.... I'm sure the native English-e speaking recruiters are fairing better than the Ks.... |

There are at least five-uh recruiters with Korean backgrounds who roam these he-uh bo-uhds. |

They are probably too busy begging people to come to Korea. I wouldn't be too surprised if a few jumped out of their apartments because they lost their shirts when the ESL slave trade in Korea dried up.

Maybe it's so awful for them, they don't want to discuss it?
I know of a few recruiters whose favorite line is, "Well, there really aren't many positions out there, and we have a lot of teachers." I've always laughed when I've heard this one, as I know it's the exact opposite. |

I did it part time and was to much of a headache, now with these new regs I would not want to touch it with a ten foot pole. I can see many homeless recruiters soon. Some of them I wish this on. |
