| I'm trying to go to my blog at "www.blogspirit.com" and can't seem to connect. It worked fine at work today, but I get a "DNS error" message each time I try at home. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Thanks. |

it's possible that your ISP is blocking blogspirit.com (I can access it via hanaro).
can you use the internet from home? if so then the dns error you are getting is not your internet connection. |

Yes, I'm using the Internet at home now and I have no problem with any of the other sites I normally visit.
I don't get it ... why would my ISP block Blogspirit? Is there any way I can solve the problem by adjusting my settings or something? |

Try connecting through a free proxy and see if that works.

Because somebody at your ISP found a blog there offensive or anti-Korean in someway. You could try calling them and explain the situation and have the site unblocked.
It's for exactly these kind of problems that l pay for hosting and maintain my own blog - less than $100 a year and no hassles. |

That's weird. I was able to view my blog using the VTunnel site, but I couldn't seem to upload any new photos. It's just a blog full of animal images and other photos related to Korea and Japan ... not women eating their own diarrhea, for god's sake.
Thanks to everyone who helped, though. I guess I'll have to try contacting my ISP. |

it's not your blog that is blocked rather the blog provider due to one of the other users on there. |

Yeah it sucks, but not as bad as the great firewall of china. Anyhow I recommend calling your ISP and ask them to remove the block. |
