A friend of mine came to visit me in Seoul recently. He is an easy-going guy, without any kind of racist sentiments. Towards the end of his stay, he told me that he could never find an Asian girl attractive - this despite the numerous fine ladies to whom I introduced him and who we encountered in some of my favorite locales.

I have also noticed in the past a few posters on here who have given similar views.

So what is it about Korean girls that you don't like?

some people like blondes. some people like redheads. some people like women they can speak fluent english to. could be a lot of different reasons. personal taste, that's all.

I came to Korea for the first time in 1996 for only a month, and after returning home I knew that they were on average more attractive than Canadian girls.

Quite a few of my friends have come here not already being attracted to Korean girls, and quite quickly they change their minds. All except for one guy, who turned down a sure thing in some bar in Sinchon (who was later unceremoniously scooped up by another friend).

I saw this post and this is my kind of topic. I know the question was asked what is not attractive, but i just use this chance to say what is. Asian girls are attractive in general, not only Korean. Japanese, Chinese, and Korean even more so. Personally, I like the hair(especially long), skin complexion, the small eyes, and most are thin and have nice bodies...different from most western females. And their style of dress even makes them more attractive. Smart, nice, funny, and fun are some positive things about their personality. But not negative things are that they are mostly too conservative, religious, closeminded, discriminating, prejudiced, racist and not accepting of all, especially me because I am a black man..that is unless they just want friend to fill their foreigner quota or English teacher. So I usually tend to go for other Asian nationalities other than East Asian because of this about their personality..eventhough physically Korean, Japanese, and Chinese are more attractive. So basically, physically East Asian and Korean women are too me the most attractive and sexy in the world, but most are not naughty and b*tchy enough for me. So can I add this in, does anyone know any specific non hiphop bars or clubs in Seoul where I can meet some Korean girls that can change my view?

It took me about a week to get yellow fever. When I caught it, it was bad. Still is but I kind of have it under control.

Depends on what you define as "attractive".....

For many here, it seems like thin submissive women. The fact they are Asian adds to the exotic factor, apparently.

While looks are a factor for me, it is not a "deciding" one. Attractiveness can also be brains as well as beauty, but too many males I have come across are stuck just on the beauty part.

Most seem to have very poor manners, lack heart, and make MissSeoul appear kind in comparison.

The most attractive Korean I've ever seen is the directer of our Kindergarten!

My husband and I just can't get over how beautiful she is!

In general...... it all depends on individual tastes.....

as far as men go, I've had my share of quite the mix ....way back then!

But when I finally settled down and got married....it was to a regular "whitey"
just like me.

And still to this day, no man to me will ever be as beautiful, attractive , sexy, alluring and enticing as he is!

Everybody is different.
Many Asian women in America including Korean women don't want to do anything with American men. One of my cousin came to America when she was 5th grade, never tried/never dated with any American, she married to a Korean guy.

And then there are mail-order brides from phillippin for American men.
