OK, so that's what you get. I bought it 4 months ago for W1,500,000 and it's yours today for W1,250,000. I've seen enough computer 4 sale posts to anticipate the inevitable flames.

It has about 8 months left on the 1-year warranty. As for the link, is the poster suggesting my Dell is only worth $749? There's no real comparison between the models. I won a decked-out Sony Vaio in the raffle. Oh, and there are NO strange symbols on the keyboard-totally English.

It's not the "basic" one. He paid what he said he did for it.

Not spliffed. Well, not so bad, anyway.

I just bought a Dell for my mother-in-law a few days ago. With his specs, you'll pay over $1,350,000 here. Go ahead and try it yourself: www.dell.co.kr

He's got a Core 2 Duo at 2.0, and the most expensive monitor option for that model. the HD is also an upgrade at 7200 RPM, as well as 2 gig of Ram.

Your CNET link is for a Core 2 at 1.5 and the rest of the specs are bottom-end.

It's used though... as someone mentioned, 900,000 would be a good price.

Keep in mind that the guy also has a licensed Student version of Microsoft office software that would up the value as well.

Here's an update. I've got 2 people locked in a back and forth bidding war, kind of... The top bid is W1,050,000. Keep in mind the computer is used, yes, but only 4 months old. The Home and Student, which is genuine, is a $100+ value. The Bluetooth headset, never used, is a $65 value. Additionally, this is not the stock model but an upgraded model with all relevant CDs included.

Sorry folks, I've cancelled the sale for a variety of reasons. First, I just found my receipt and I paid over W1,600,000 on the Dell Korea website. If you feel I got screwed, well, keep your comments to yourself. Go ahead and check it out. Additionally, I just found out that Dell didn't include the monitor I ordered, so I will return it and have them put the right monitor on the laptop. When the laptop comes back from Dell, I'll repost at the same price. My suggestion to you, if you can get a better rig for the price I'm asking, jump on it.
