I was out running errands today before I leave for my winter camp (joy), and as I was leaving the vets buying pet food, my sneaker slipped on the step, and I rolled my ankle. At the time it hurt a bit, and I limped for about 5 minutes or so, but kept going about my business.
Now I'm home, and went to take off my sock and realized my ankle/foot hurts quite a bit. It's kind of right in front of my foot where the shin/ankle/foot connects. It's a broad area of pain, which makes me think ligament or tendon. Kinda sucks. I can point my foot fully with no pain, but if I try to flex it (pull it up toward me) I get a sharp pain in that area. It's a bit puffy and looks like I will get some bruising.
I don't think it's worth going to the hospital for (I've sprained and broken both my ankles enough to know when something is super serious), but I would like to know where I can buy an ace bandage, ankle brace, or some sports tape to support it for a while. Looks like I'm on the couch for the rest of the evening. Delivery it is tonight!
Thanks. |

I imagine the local pharmacy sells Ace bandages, but I'm not sure. I know I've seen my kindy students sporting them. |
