I know exactly what a fact is. Perhaps you need to take a glance at my posts again.

Wow, so what you're saying is, they're vampires!
I never would have known, as they come by during the daylight hours, no?

Just goes to show you can learn a lot of things by selective quoting.

I suppose the OP could frame this cartoon and hang it as a sign.

Who are those people that hang around in Itaewon asking if you know who the mother of God is. They are seriously screwed up.

Here's a funny youtube video of some people who decide to give Mormons a taste of their own medicine. They go door to door in Utah and try to convert Mormons to atheism. They get some pretty unfriendly responses. They even get hit with a rake.

Maybe the foreign missionaries. The Korean Mormons are a whole other breed, especially the ajummas.

That being said, 80% of those knocking on my door are the JWs. The rest are Church of God followers. The CoD'ers are the worst, IMO. They just don't take no for an answer. They stopped sending the young lures^H^H^H^H^Hbeauties to my door after I propositioned the last pair to do a videotaped threesome as the price for joining their church. Obviously, they were not serious about or dedicated to their mission work. They said no.

I only seem to bump into the Mormons (either 2 foreigners, or a foreigner-Korean pair) on the street. I say not interested, and they apologize for bothering me and go away.

Those are the Church of God people.

I met 2 mormon guys from Idaho or Iowa or somewhere in Mokdong once (go figure). I chatted them up and we had lunch together. Seriously, they were 2 very pleasant guys, and never once pushed their religion on me. I told them I am Anglican, and they respected that. We all believe in the same God.

It's the Heavenly Mother and JW's that bother me. Those nutcases need a new hobby.

What Mormon door-to-door missionaries are ajummas? I think you're confusing them with the JWs.

No. Living in Seoul I had the same one come every weekend. She was not a JW (no Watchtowers) and not a CoG (no Mother God speil), and she mentioned 조셉 쓰미스 once or twice. She came every weekend with a different partner, no matter how many times I told her No. I finally had to put a large sign on my door threatening bodily harm to any prothletyzers (no particular denomination mentioned) banging on my door. And peace was had until I moved to Daejeon... only JWs and CoGs here.

Dubious story, dude. For one thing, LDS missionaries operate in pairs and the pairs are assigned together for a minimum of six weeks at a time. So I doubt she was an official missionary.

Now, there's the possibility she was just an annoying neighbor with a number of annoying friends. I've had a few of those types of neighbors myself, even members of the LDS church, over the years. But I wouldn't make book on that possibility.

Anyway, I do feel for you about the Heavenly Mother chicks no longer coming around. The one and only time I encountered that outfit in person, the chick was, to put it bluntly, one of the five most gorgeous women I've ever seen in my life. Not that I liked her message, but it was nice to look at her for the two hours she was sitting next to me (actually just across the aisle) on the KTX.

This is FUNNY as hell. I love how they dress as Mormon missionaries with the white shirts, ties and NAME BADGES - CLASSIC.

The fact that Mormons can dish it out but can't be tolerant to hear what others have to say is funny as hell.

I remember this one time a JW called me up, not sure how they got my number...but I talked to the dude for like 2hrs debating why they believe what they do...let's just say I never got another call from them again haha.

I will copy and paste some pictures that you can print out and laminate and stick to your door.

these should keep them away!

(this is my first time trying to copy and paste so I hope it works.)

(well, copy and past doesn't work so I will use photobucket some day when I have the time)

Did I say she was an official missionary? No, I said she was a Mormon and she would not take no for an answer (she may have been a neighbourhood pest, as you say). As I said, she was my only problem... the other Mormons I've bumped into on the streets were polite and apologetic and left me alone. I don't have problems with any religion, Mormon or otherwise, as long as they respect my wish to be left alone with my own beliefs.

The Raelians are the same. Both a Raelian "church" and a CoG church were within walking distance of my Seoul apartment. Now, if I had propositioned those Raelians, I know I would have scored.
