You could buy a good new high-zoom camera for 350K. Maybe even an older model DSLR. Check out Danawa.com |

you won't get a new one for that ... however a new D40 is close, about 430,000 won with a lens.
you might pick up a used canon 350D or a nikon D50 or D70 for that price.
bibbity's always got my back, thanks for that mate!!
pm me if you need help. |

I have a 3 year old Panasonic FZ-20, 5 megapixels, Image stabilization, 12x Leica zoom.
If interested, PM me and make an offer. (It's not worth 350,000 any more) I have three batteries (One is pretty much dead though), a UV filter, and a 512 mb SD card that will go along with it. |

thanks for all of the great suggestions guys! I am not familiar with danawa.com, is there a way to surf the site in English? I didn't think I would be getting new for 350,000, a quality used one is all I am really after on my budget. If anyone can shed some light on the best way to get a quality used DSLR with limited Korean skills, that would be awesome.
thanks in advance |

There are plenty of high-zoom (non-DSLR) cameras for under 350K. However, I think this guy is only interested in a DSLR. |

You can get the DSLR-like superzoom FZ50 for about $350 at yongsan and other markets. my co-worker got it and loves it. Actually, it's a great 'stepping stone ' to the DSLR from a regular digicam.
Remember that things like Lens maker/designer is actually more important than actaul megapixels. Another thing to remember is that the sensor manufacturer is imortant too. Things like face detection and image stabilizer are more secondary. I own a panasonic myself and love it (Mine's a LX2, prosumer model). |

You could get a canon 20d body for about that much, but you have to understand DSLR lenses are pretty expensive... For 350 you might be able to manage a single 50mm f1.8 lens and the body, but a zoom lens is going to run you at lease a few hundred thousand more. |
