I need one fast to do mega downloading. Is there a site that does speed tests and compares and shows which companies have the fastest downloads/speeds? |

Hello, Our company provide internet registration service.
In Korea, Foreigner can register KT and Hanaro internet service.
More than 90% of foreginers register KT service, because it is more cheaper and easy to register.
The internet speed does not depend on provider but your residency.
If you give us your address, we can find the fastest service available in your home.
Additionally, for KT subscriber, we discharge installation fee (30,000won) and modem rental fee (66,000won for 1year).
Thank you.

But isn't KT the only one that offers hotspots around Seoul? |

There are plenty of ISPs that provide 100 megabit speeds all over the city. Don't worry about finding a fast ISP, they're everywhere. |

On a side note, for those who are interested in getting basic cable modem speeds, the cheapest route to go is often with your local cable TV company.
Around here, we get 50 TV channels plus internet (modem rental a tad extra) for 31,000 per month or so. |
