This is a portable media player I bought about 18 months ago.
It is a Korean model Viliv P1.
The Specs are as follows :
30 gig HDD(you can use it as an external hard drive)
16 million true colors(24 bit) and 4 inch wide display
USB 2.0
Voice, Audio, FM voice recording
playing time for movies approx. 6 hours(QVGA Resolution at 30 fps)
mp3 player
compatible with caption files smi, srt
480x272 resolution
compliant with xvid, divx, mpeg 1/2/4, swf - asf & wmv needs transcoding
can playback file types mpeg1 L2, mpeg2, mp3, wma, OGG, AC3, AAC
jpeg pictures can be stored and played back(up to 2048x1024)
It is in a protective plastic case and I still have the 24 pin adapter, wire remote, USB cable, and cradle. It can be charged using PDA mobile phone chargers also.
Price can be negotiable to a certain extent. I bought it at around 350,000 won. But it is still in pretty good condition.
You can buy an additional battery at auction.co.kr for 17500 won(Including shipping and handling) - I can help you buy this since I am a Korean/American.
I am in HBC or by Korea University.

Why would a foreigner buy that model when there's the I-Station that comes in 30gig & 60gig with the same features for the same price including a Korean/English dictionary, PDF viewer and some games and regional A/S for roughly the same price new. I-Station even has a more expensive version with GPS.
Foreigners here are also into ITouch and PSP. ITouches are a bit more expensive and PSPs are cheaper with less memory.
As this is an open forum, just letting people know there are better options for their hard-earned money.
Hope you knock down the price a bit. |

matthews:
Ipod touch & the i-station cater to different audience. Also the i-station is quite a bit expensive. More expensive than what this guy is selling his pmp for. I MUST say though that I love the i-station and if you can get one with similar specs as the one on sale for around this price (used or otherwise) consider yourself lucky.
I bought two i-station V43s. One for myself and one for my friend. One of the things I love about the V43 (no longer in production ) and it's successor the T43 is that it runs on gnu/linux and I can connect my DSLR to it and download all the pics to the 30G HDD. Besides that the V43 has one of the best touch screens out there. Easily better than the ipod touch. Then again the ipod is a much lighter and solid state storage device and the v43 is quite heavy when compared to the ipod touch.
The PSP - hmm that's a good piece of hardware btw. Doesn't really fit my idea of a proper PMP though with the latest firmware, I heard, we can view videos @ a greater resolution than earlier.
@sea2sea:
It appears to be a 4" wide screen. More info here: http://www.myviliv.com/eng/spec.html |

Actually the 150,000 is a decent price.
With 350,000, the OP could have gotten more. The 30GB T-43 with the navi is going in the neighborhood of 450,000.
The OP should take into consideration that there are a lot of PSP owners/shoppers on this board. |
