Hi
Is there anywhere that offers driving lessons with an English speaking instructor? (Phoned the information helpline but they can't give out commercial info - also used the search function and couldn't find anything with enough info).
Live in Haebangchon so Yongsan-gu would be best, but not picky about the area.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I can't answer your question, but I have to ask:

Are you in need because you've never learned to drive a car, or because you want to learn how to drive in Korea (or simply learn Korea's laws)?

If it's the latter, here's all you need to know:

Cops don't care how you drive, as long as you aren't over 0.05 BAC.

If you need to change lanes, don't signal or even look. Just merge. If someone is in your way, they will honk or slam on their brakes for you.

When you approach an intersection, don't stop at the intersection. Just stop in the intersection with AT LEAST the nose of your car to your front tire in the intersection. The more, the better.

If you need to turn right, but you aren't in the right turn lane, just stop and/or turn in front of the people in the lane to your right.

When the light turns red or there is traffic backed up in the intersection, simply go. If you get stuck in the intersection, this lets the traffic light know it made a mistake. Since all the people crossing the other way won't be able to go and will honk their horns, this really lets the traffic light understand it should've let you through.

Thanks for the advice.
I don't have any kind of driver's license. I know the basics but not enough to pass a test.

There is a process that you have to go through. I did the driving training course and it was in Korean. It was beyond easy and the instructors tried to speak English. You can do it in Korean...really I am not joking.
