I love how people make these huge accusations and then don't back it up. Because if it's on the internet it must be true, right. |
Well, a question isn't an accusation. Is it? Beside that, the wider point is that all candidates will have people of questionable character supporting and donating to them. It only seems to be an issue with Ron Paul, and only then because there is such a large effort to keep him marginalized.
Do you really think that not one person who belongs to, supports or has an ideological affection for a designated (by the SPLC, my provided criteria) hate-group will have donated to Obama, Huckabee or whoever else? And if someone has, should the candidate be held morally accountable for it? I sure don't think so. Take the money and put it to non-racist/supremacist use. As Ron Paul has done. Better they have the cash that some thug. |

Not to mention the fact that returning money to a donor is a tacit admission that money can be used to change the person's position. That's the problem I have with the idea of returning donations in the first place. In Ron Paul's case that's not a problem. Lobbyists don't even bother visiting his office because they know trying to sway him is a lost cause. |

Ron Paul still has more support among African Americans than any other Republican. Ron Paul treats all individuals as equals. Ron Paul may be the only non racist candidate running.

A non-racist? Sure, kinda hard to believe when he takes money from racists, attends racist meetings and dinners, and accepts their support.
Oddly enough, that does not make him the MOST racist Republican out there.
That's an honor reserved for either Giuliani or Romney or McCain.
You should see their ads. They're gearing up for another Swift Boat run. |
