I bumped into a guy the other day who was telling me that there is an amazing Indian restaurant. I think he said it was immediately outside of Exit 5 from Dongmyo Station. I know this is not much information, but if anyone knows the restaurant he was talking about and the name/directions, please let me know! I'm really interested in trying it out. |

Sorry ... I bet the one OP tries to mention is Namastae resturant. That is the one in Exit 5. Get out of Exit 5, make a about-turn, ( dont move away from the exit ) look above to your right, you can identify the korean word for namastae. The Phone number is 02-2232-2286.
Exit 8 and .... is Himalaya, yes right ... is also good.

Yep, the one out of exit 5 is Namaste. Heard Everest is pretty nice, but Namaste is great. |

Want better directions to Everest?
Go to Dongdaemun station, exit 3. Walk straight you get to the second alley (the first alley is really narrow). Go left. This takes you to an odd shaped alley intersection. Look to your right on the second floor for the Everest sign, it's above a chicken joint.
Also, if you go one station north on line 4 to Hyehwa, go to exit 4 and just walk straight (pass b/t the Haggen Daz and Baskin Robbins). Look on your left on the 2nd floor for an orange sign for "New Dehli Indian Food." Excellent, extensive menu. 2,000 won more or so than Everest for curry, but many more options. 2,000 won draft beers, too. |
