This happens every year. They take their own sweet time getting the contracts ready. I get pissed, and knowing that many Koreans won't do a thing until you put them in a crisis situation, have to threaten that I am about to sign for another uni job before they finally get off of their general administrational a$$ and put the thing together.

I have everything else... my schedule of classes for next year, approval from my boss... they are just slow, lazy, ignorant, whatever....

Do you have your contract for March yet? (renewal).

Asked and received the contract and other paperwork just before the Dec 15 deadline for the new visa requirements. On December 13 I renewed my visa up until Feb 28 2009.

So yes, all done =)

No contract, but not dependent on the university for a work visa.

apparently my uni is pulling it together now. My coworker wants to go extend his visa as soon as possible since his wife is coming to Korea and he is worried about her visa. First thing is first...

After Monday, I'll be within the "two month period" to extend my current visa, and I'd just assume get this done as soon as possible. I'm hoping to go in next week.
