According to the pension office having this will help a lot [and I suspect this will help otherwise].
I asked him directly, lied that the tax office wants it - ironically that backfired, because it seems that he didn't expect that I would want him to file taxes, because he was running scared from herein...
Any advice? |

Look on the registration certificate located either behind the front desk or in his office.

My guess is he is a registered business but has nothing going through the books. He is scared sh!tless and doesn't want a hefty fine and being unable to run a business.
Get his business card, your contract and visit the tax and pension office. They should make a note of the business address and visit within a couple of days.
I remember I phoned the tax office when I left my last job and they mentioned that I was on the books but as an independent contractor. The tax office wanted to know the address, have a copy of my employment contract and the last I heard was that the school got closed down.
The name of the school was "Kevin's English Institute". Such a dodgy place. |

You guys are great.
I have been delaying going to the tax office for that reason.
The school was visited by pension, and he actually was dumb enough to lie, I am making a double visit to both the pension and tax office with my pay stubs.
I am neither vendictive, nor mean, but I am the 3rd foreigner in less than 1 year, and the last one really RAN, leaving 200k won of her clothes and other miscelany in her wake. I think I ended up with him to teach him a lesson of how to never f**k with foreigners. |

If there is no registration number, then the hogwan is not legally registered and is an illegal hogwan. In that case, you are NOT receiving any health insurance or pension payments or taxes. The owner is pocketing whatever he is withholding from your pay. |
