CB, you may be right, it maybe the equivalent of Howard Dean's scream that killed his candidacy in 2004.

I honestly don't think anyone believes her.

As to McCain's candidacy, I think he represents more of the same Bush policies.

I also tend to agree, the Republican Party elite don't like McCain as a candidate. Someone is going to Nancy Kerrigan him again and take him out. The other problem is no matter who the Republican Candidate is, they won't want Bush's help campaign as he's more of a liability then an asset. Who wants a lame-duck president with the approval ratings of 30 some odd percent giving help to their campaign. Answer: None (if the campaign is smart)

I tend to agree with you YB, the fat lady is indeed warming out, but a NH win isn't the end of the race. We may see more people drop out (my bets are on "Dead Fred" Thompson, Ron Paul, Duncan Hunter, Mike Gravel and Dennis "I saw a UFO" Kuchinch). I think the rest will stay in longer, Clinton and Edwards are in it at least until Feb 5th.

I guess that's true about Kucinich. It's clear Clinton will take Michigan, but second place is probably up for grabs (even if like you said it's not worth anything), he could stay in it in case something happens. Of course the K-man does have a hot wife, so if it's any consolation, he gets some lovin'. Way to go Denny!

Honestly I think Hunter will be out after NH. I don't think he has the money or organization to go on. I'd bet that Ron Paul has more money then him.

Fred is toast, he clearly wants to go back to TV and is about as motivated as a slug. He'll drop out after NH.

Thompson looked sluggish and bored with Iowan voters, I can't imagine how much more sluggish and bored he'd be with New Hampshirites. He just doesn't look, sound, or act like someone who has any real interest in listening to the people.

He looks like the kind of guy who would really enjoy anyone who gives him attention and strokes his huge ego, pretty much the ideal man for Washington Lobbyists to kiss up to. Match made in heaven there.

Wow, who would have thought. Every single poll was wrong on Clinton, which is surprising because they were dead on with every other candidate.
My thought is that the now infamous "tear up" and "iron my shirt" incidents swung sympathetic voters in Clinton's direction over the past few days. Exit polls show she won the women vote and did well with youth while Obama still carried the independents.

Clinton must now be considered the front runner once again and should have never been counted out.
