Lets do the math.

Your little source there claims that Saddam was responsible for around a million deaths. Fair enough.

This source http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/10/AR2006101001442.html claims that as of 2006, the war was responsible for around 655,000 deaths.

655,000 divided by 3 (years) is 218,333 per year.

You are not counting the one million deaths, Including 500,000 children, due to the sanctions for the 12 years before the war.

Saddam starved his own people.

Besides Saddam had it in mind to kill many more Kurds and invade Kuwait again

CNN's reporting is again disgusting.

At the moment Guliani and Paul are level on 9% yet they are showing RG on their pie chart but not RP.

Sure, there is no media agenda here Rolling Eyes

Yah, i noticed that too.

FOX shut him out of the "debate" the other night as well.

Pretty much been treated the same way by the establishment the whole campaign. What d'ya expect?

It 's incredible. You show these people the facts plain as day, and then they still want to claim it's all fair.

It's a sad day for our country.

Saddam had access to foodstuffs and medicines to help his people. However, Saddam, spent money on security services, luxurious palaces, expensive liquors and weapons to suppress dissent. Even under sanctions, Saddam's priorities were himself, his family and his close friends; he cared little for the people of Iraq.

Much like post March 2003. All of the lefties on this board claim every death was the result of the US military. Gangs, insurgents and mujahadin killed many more Iraqis than any US Soldier or Marine killed. Besides Soldiers and Marines were going after the Mujahadin and insurgents.

What is the policy of the US military?

What is the policy of the Iraqi government?

What is the policy of Al Qaeda?

What are the policies of the various gangs and insurgents in Iraq?

It is been shown that you and your ilk claim conspiracy any time you don't like the results.

When Paul doesn't win the next primary what is Igothisguitar going to claim?

What exactly would happen if Paul became president? The same thing with Nader. There would be no dialogue between Congress and the Executive. Legislation would cease. While some Alex Jones types may find this desirable ("I'm fine with anarchy! I'm a straight shooting hard workin dude! I've got my propane tank and my bomb shelter. To hell with y'all!") it would be a disaster for this country. Not to mention he wants to go back to the gold standard. Unbelievable.

Once we go through a real recession (two straight quarters of negative GDP growth), then we can talk about considering a modicum of toleration for discussions by fringe groups abolishing the Federal reserve. On second thought, let's not. [/u]

Well, the US is in a "real" recession. And this recession was caused, or at the very least, made MUCH worse by the Fed. And it will last a hell of a long longer than 2 quarters too. Though, I very seriously doubt the fed will use the word "depression". That is what it will technically be.

So, did you start learning about the Fed via wikipedia a few weeks ago? Like the rest of this site?

Chip in for the recount:

Go to www.grannywarrior.com.

It seems Ron Paul may have actually gotten 20% of the vote. If the recount results in him getting a delegate, under NH law the recount money is returned and so you may just get back your money. This recount will be for all candidates.
