I don't think he'll withdraw. I'm 80% sure he'll jump ship and run as an Independent or re-join the Libertarian Party. Although on one of those clips he did call his own supporters 'true-believers' when he came out to concede. Maybe he's not as deluded as the supporters. Maybe.

Conspiracy proponents are like strategists without the info. network. As anyone seriously ensconced in researching a thesis topic will tell you, the more you learn the more questions you end up acquiring. It seems to me that the conspiracy folks take a smidgen of info.(from an "informed" source; dubiously quasi-legit experts) and attempt to connect the "dots" with it without conducting any applied uni-driven research.

Where the concept of the conspiracy theory has a negative connotation associated with wild-eyed and rambling in a disjointed way. Any "real" truth(with economic/political interests) can effectively be squashed when applied to any "sensitive" topic (which may have some basis in fact). Would anyone have seriously listened to the doomsayers who had heard uneasy rumours concerning Enron during it's heyday?

I was once studied applied psyche at post-grad. level in a hospital(Goffman and social organization). The bs leaders(court holders/self-appointed leaders) could use their popularity to discredit anybody including doctors. The unqualified(info reliance equalled repeat patronage to the leading cult of personality types) could effectively discredit the qualified(the actual patients that really did hold respectable accomplishments in the outside world). Once the patients were released what had held as true in within the confines of the hospice was quickly forgotten. Truth, I had learned in most peoples minds is acceptance, conformity and security. As long as security is provided, manufactured truth is totally acceptable. This holds equally true as in general society.

What does this bloated contribution amount to for Joe average? Pay attention to bills/charges in your day to day expenses, take an interest in local politics and national bills relevant to how your money/tax dollars are spent and you will acquire enough info to become a "concerned citizen". Skullduggery(competition) for your pocket is going on all the time once you begin to pay attention and has been the order of the day since the beginning of organized democratic societies(people living in undemocratic societies have additional unimagined difficulties to contend with) .

I wouldn't say conspiracy theorists are wrong but that they should back-up their theories with real research, professional consultation with qualified people, organize petitions and protest marches if they and their issues are truly valid.

BTW: that Mel Gibson movie of the same name must have been the "creative" steal of the century for the script writer since the "they" and "their technology" info appears to be common currency on most ad-nauseum conspiracy sites.
