I may be starting a new job soon and it's a unique situation. I will be paid from Hong Kong while working in Korea. My question is basically which country would be the best place to bank from from a income tax prospective? My company would send my monthly salary to any bank I choose. I am assuming I would be income tax exempt up to $80,000 USD since I am a US citizen working abroad. Would it benefit me to actually have my salary deposited into a US account or a Korean Bank account...or another Asian country with less strict tax laws. I may be over analyzing this, but just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks!
