She has as good a case for divorce as he does.

He would have some nerve to get angry.

Laughter ought to be the reaction. After the shock.

That's right. He shouldn't get angry because he went there himself. They are both idiots.

Also possible that he was tipped by a friend that his wife is possibly working there. He was there to verify the truth, not as a customer.

Also possible that she was just there working as a cleaner, or the tea-lady.

Wasn't there a popular urban legend like this about a father and daughter?

WARSAW (Reuters) - A Polish man got the shock of his life when he visited a brothel and spotted his wife among the establishment's employees. Polish tabloid Super Express said the woman had been making some extra money on the side while telling her husband she worked at a store in a nearby town.

"I was dumfounded. I thought I was dreaming," the husband told the newspaper Wednesday.

The couple, married for 14 years, are now divorcing, the newspaper reported.

(Writing by Chris Borowski, Editing by Matthew Jones)

RACETRAITOR has the right idea.

I say this is BS.

This was reported in a tabloid. While some tabloids are "newspapers," some are hybrids of newspapers and Weekly World News types, and then there IS the Weekly World News, which is a joke, literally.

In general, tabloids follow the motto "Never let the facts get in the way of a good story."

Note that, unlike the Weekly World News, the Polish tabloid Super Express apparently didn't bother to even make up names.

Of course, anything is possible, and sooner or later it will happen. But why the hell would the cuckolded husband run to the tabloid with his story? (Hey, world, wanna hear a funny story?)

So I vote for BS.

And shame on Reuters for picking it up.

I don't understand what the big deal is. She's making some extra money and he's getting a little more action on the side. If the romance is dead then it appears the feeling is mutual. As long as they have the decency to practice safe sex I don't see any loss to either one of them.

At your dads office party
All the movies were blue
It caused so much heart ache
That the film star was you

You were a rich girl
and only having fun
Your low cut dresses
Brought stares from everyone
Hey little rich girl where did you go wrong
The Specials

I did see this show on Korean TV, something about true romance horror stories. One was about a woman who hit a guy with her car and then finds out he's someone she knows. They go on a date. They fall in love. They get married (in Korean tradition he was probably proposing marriage after the 3rd date). Right before the wedding she's in her little bridal rabbit hutch with her soon to be husband and some guys come in and beat him up. Turns out they were there to collect some gambling debts. Anyway, he gambles on their honeymoon. He gambles over the sex of their first child. He's gambling at gostop. It just never ends. He starts beating her in his apartment when she's trying to break up a high stakes gostop game where he's trying to gamble her jewelry.

Anyway, the other story was about some devoted husband and he finds out his wife is working as a ho. He's always dragging her out of cars and yogwans. He sweats out a promise from her not to ho herself. One day he comes home and finds her stripping on web cam. Eventually she leaves, leaving him to provide for their 8 year old daughter.

Geez.

What about the story where this female cop accidentally arrests a guy who she thinks is a purse-snatcher, but turns out he was innocent, and she develops feelings for him, so they start dating, and one day while she was pursuing a murderer, her boyfriend appeared out of nowhere and she accidentally shot him and he died.

All i had to do was type "urban legends" into google, and up popped this very story, plus an earlier version.

http://urbanlegends.about.com/b/2008/01/10/man-dumbfounded-to-find-wife-working-in-brothel-take-two.htm

Are they true? Possibly, but I doubt it, knowing the tabloid press.

From the same search, I found this Korean item, which I presume is not urban legend:

http://www.snopes.com/daily/

http://uk.reuters.com/article/oddlyEnoughNews/idUKSEO7089820080110

In short, don't go through life a gullible fool.
