I live in Gangnam. Can anyone think of anywhere close to go sledding? Where's the best sledding in Seoul?
Anyone have ideas for homemade sleds?
Anyone up for late night Soju Sledding? |

come to gangneung! it's only 3 hours from Seoul...
actually, fyi, in nearby Jinbu, there's an ice festival with ice-karting and ice-quadding and ice-fishing and, yes, those ice-skating things where you sit down on a thing and push with little sticks..
..and yes it has a sledding bit complete with moving targets (locals)
real snow, artificially created snow,...
not to mention the resort at Yongpeong..
 You could make a weekend of it... |

Muju Ski Resort in Jeollabukdo has free sled rentals.
See you there on the last Saturday of January! 
From nambu terminal in Seoul it takes 2.5 hours due south
at these times: 8:20, 9:20, 10:30, 1:30, 2:30. |
