Ok, scratch some of the above picks.
Final picks:
Philadelphia (Flying high with Gagne back in the lineup.)
Dallas (No doubt about it after coming off a loss.)
San Jose (Because the Leafs suck.)
Tampa Bay (The are overdue and they're only playing Florida.)

DETROIT (Big game. Better team will win. Doesn't matter if it's in Ottawa.) |

Hey, do you folks know about this cool free online fantasy hockey game? It's from the good people at sportsnet.ca.

It's a weekly game, where you pick a team--two centers, four wingers, three defense, and one goalie. Each player has a point value (Lecavalier is a '9' and Modano is a '5' for example), and you have to make the team worth no more than 50 points total. Quite a cool game actually.
I suppose there's prizes but that doesn't really matter much. Of course, there's no chance whatsoever anybody coming in this late would win the big prize, but there are weekly trinkets they give away, but mostly it's just fun to play pretend GM and stay on top of who's having a good season and who's not.
This is the first year in the last decade or so where I haven't been in a proper draft pool. I do miss that. But thanks, Karmapolice, this one is fun too. Pity I suck so bad picking winers but hopefully I'll get the hang of it..cheers |
