am not sure why you think being a pr*ck to someone just offering some software for sale is acceptable?

perhaps you're just one of those sexist insecure morons who can't tolerate the idea of a woman knowing how to use a computer? no doubt better than you - ?

what a bleeping jerk you are - !

Boy, where to start.

1.) No, you don't have to be a student to qualify for the Office 2007 Home & Student version. This isn't a discount price. It's a completely independent version of the software designed for home use, and student use, where the only programs are Office, Excel, Powerpoint, and I believe One Note. it might even have Outlook, but I never use that so I can't remember.

It was designed this way for people who did not want to spend 300,000 or more for the basic version. It can be installed on up to 3 computers, so it's very good for people who have 2 computers at home, or one at home and one at work.

2.) I don't have any problems with people offering software for sale. I only had issues with the fact that you were offering this for what you said was a great price for great software, when it's not a good price, and the software has conditions attached (ie. you have to have earlier Windows for the XP to be used).

3.) I didn't even know you were a woman. I don't care if you're a woman. You're just wrong, and gender plays no role in that. I've met lots of women who know more about computers than me. I have no problem with it.

4.) From your posts, it's pretty obvious that you aren't very computer saavy. You start off by not knowing what OEM is, then you can't grasp a simple concept like HOME & Student 2007.

5.) You're assuming a lot here and are attacking other people personally when those who have responded only criticised your sale price and description. You are the one who made this personal, not me.

6.) I still say this is a bad deal. If you sell it for 300,000, congratulations, you took advantage of someone.

Goodbye.

you are really insecure aren't you? not knowing what OEM is simply means I deal with computers outside the retail world - which I do - unlike some of you who prowl the stores and can identify brands by their logos - some of us actually have REAL WORLD experience dealing with software, users and --gasp-- technical issues!! -

you dont know i'm a woman - jees what kind of guy would have my avatar???

furthermore, yes, you DO have to have a student id to buy student software - !! am not sure why you think otherwise?

finally, ONE MORE TIME - this is MS OFFICE in a complete version - if you have XP already - you DON'T need it - or probably anything later than an OS dated 2000 -

i bought it in 2003 when it was brand new - as i stated in the OP -

why do you need to get on here and rag on me like this? yes, you are a total bleep for doing so - yes, I'm just trying to sell some software - WTF do you care?

it's NOT a bad deal at all - a new version of MS Office is very expensive - and there are a LOT of people still on 98 - because it's a very good OS - something you obviously don't know anything about !!

no doubt because of pr*cks like you i won't be selling this on this forum - but don't worry - i know plenty of Ks who will be happy to get their hands on an E version

i thought it would be generous of me to provide this service to the expat community first - knowing first hand how difficult it is to deal w/ a korean language os - not to mention software in K when you dont speak the language

i did NOT make this personal - bleeps like YOU did by challenging my knowledge of the product I'm selling - not to mention making untrue statements about the price and its worth - ! as if!!

clearly I stated in the OP - OBO - !!! oh, let me explain for you - that means OR BEST OFFER - !!! which means people were more than free to make an offer on these items - that doesn't mean they are supposed to rag on the seller like i'm some kind of a i don't know what!!

did you not read that?? probably not, you were so bored with your obviously lowsy life you thought you'd jump on here and take a whack at someone's post

i suppose bleeps like you don't need much of a motive to try and screw w/other people do you?

I'm ignoring all of your responses to personal attacks that you've conjured up in your head, and I'll ask about these things only.

How is Office 2007 HOME & STUDENT a student only version? Are you really saying that only a student can buy this? That's odd, because my sister (over 35 years old and no student) walked into a store back home and bought this, right off the shelf, no questions asked.

Also, are you saying that if I have Windows XP already, I don't need Office? Is that because it comes with it? Seriously? Wow, I'll just buy an OS and expect the Office suite to be included!

If this is not what you meant, I'll withdraw my questions. But in your haste to fight back against personal attacks that were never there, you seem to be getting confused.

My apologies for not attacking you which led to you getting confused.

in your somewhat misguided attempts to subvert the discussion you just don't get it - because again, your blatant ignorance of computers has left you looking like the fool you are.

the operating system (OS) is there for people who don't have a version recent enough to run MS Office version for XP Pro -

if someone ONLY had an OS dated prior to 2003 (that's before in case I'm using words to hard for you to understand) the MS Office would not be able to work - therefore - the XP OS is part of the package, as an UPGRADE so the person can load, and operate, MS Office

I know this is quite technical and no doubt complicated for such a narrowminded putz as yourself, so perhaps you might ask one of those women you say know so much more about computers than you do, maybe they can explain it to you.

I know I can't.

I'm outa here also - this is too much. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Well now, this actually makes sense. See what happens when you explain yourself clearly, people can understand you.

Again, I apologise for whatever you took as a personal attack, but I really don't see it myself.

No, it's not a good deal. Since Vista came out XP has gone down in price. I could get it for as little as 25% of your price, and still new and legit, on ebay. I could get it for less than half of what you want on Amazon.

I'm ignoring the office. Just looking at windows.

it's the MS Office that people usually want - the XP upgrade is for people who might be on an earlier version and need to upgrade in order to install MS Office

like I said before, obviously you don't know much about computers or you would already know that.

so stop trolling my posts Exclamation

Laughing Laughing Laughing Who the f.u.c.k is on an earlier version than XP that is going to pay that to upgrade to it. Those people obviously don't care what OS they are running. Most people that are going to respond to this do know about computers. Good luck on that one!

read my earlier post - you dear are also a hopeless pr*ck no doubt - probably you don't even own a computer -

ms office first version is way over the cost of what this is - if you had a brain instead of just poo in your head you'd know that

Shocked

You are a funny one. I have 3 computers btw Razz . Merong!

Wow! Moosehead, you need to calm down. I doubt anyone knew you were a woman, and I wonder if anyone even cares. As for all your insults, you accuse people of being ignorant about computers when they question your post and yet you don't know what "Boot Camp" for Mac is.
