I'm sure this is not a new idea for a thread, but I have been unable to find any useful information about how to bring a pet (in this case, my cat) with me when I come to Korea in March. Can someone please inform me of to the customs procedures or show me where to go? Thank you! |

I don't know much about that sorry. You will probably have to go without having your cat with you for the first month due to quarantine procedures. Funny how something that much cleaner than the rest of Korea has to be made sure it's sterile... |

There is only quarantine for animals without proper records, so make sure you get them before you leave. Go to this site it is all spelled out on the travel forum http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/. It is easy to bring them with you so don't worry:) |

Yup pretty simple, make sure they are vaccinated at least 30 days prior to arriving in Korea, have the appropriate documentation from your vet and you are good to go. Now the only thing you will have to worry about is gaining your cat's affection back after the 20 hour flight.... |
