Hi folks
What's the deal with American beef? It was here for a while but now it's gone. A Korean who is in her final year of uni to be a doctor told me with a straight face that the US sends Korea all the crappest beef.
Also is there anywhere in Seoul i can pick up some good Indian sauces to make some curries etc. A nice korma and masala would be nice.

| Thanks for the reply. I'm looking for sauces in a jar like Chicken Tonight rather than paste. Do you know if it's jars or paste they sell? |

Yeah, it's great if you like buying your spices/pastes in 1 package deals at double what it would cost in bulk sizes. Also, if you can't read Korean...good luck! Go to international market (basically every city has some and there's a big one in the won) it's much cheaper if you know what your doing in the kitchen. |

I have a Pakistani-owned shop in my town that sells Korma, Tikka, Garam Masala and various curry powders. I make my own sauces with them and they are so much better than ready-made, and I am not kidding.
You might want to check out Tasy Bites website from India. They have decent Indian food that they ship all over the world. It is quite inexpensive too. I don't know if they have sauces, but don't buy the naan bread. It is as dry as dust.

American beef is a hell of a lot better than MAD U.K. beef  and shouldn't be hard to find since only Canada and Mexico import more of it. |
