Hi all,
A friend and I are headed to Taipei, Taiwan over the Lunar New Year. I've read through my guidebook, as well as a few travel sites online, but can't seem to pick a location for our hotel which would be suitable. We're in our 20s, enjoy shopping, nightlife, and culture and would like to be situated right in the middle of it all. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which area would be best for us? Hotel recommendations would of course be helpful too, but I'm mainly after narrowing it down to an area to stay in to start with. Many thanks in advance. |

The taipei trainstation/bus depot area is where you wanna be. Have fun on Zhongshan road, and enjoy the clubs. Luxy was the best when I was there. Do the national museum, its the best museum of Chinese history in the world, including mainland China. |
