I will be applying for a job in Korea in the next few months so I am starting to try and get all my paperwork sorted out. My university charges a flat fee of 15 then 2 for each extra set of transcripts I order. Obviously dont want to realise half way through the process that I need one more copy and have to fork out the 15 again.
So how many copies will I need for the application process? Do you only need to hand them over once you have accepted a job? They need to be sealed but should I get another unsealed copy that I can scan and email to agencies?

Do I need official copies of my actual degree as well? I only have the one copy I received upon graduation.

I usually order them in batches of 5 every few years. Some people have been told the date of printing much be recent, but I've not had any problem with 2-3 year old transcripts.

I requested 5 official sealed copies to be sent to me. I also am an applicant for a public school position, so a copy of my transcripts had to be sent directly to EPIK. It all depends on where you are going to be working. If you are going to be in a public school position then you might want to order them when they request them from you.

Best of luck,
ING.

There's this thing about "fresh transcripts," but mine aren't stamped, inside or outside of the sealed envelop, with any dates.

I've never been asked to "re-prove" my qualifications, so the one extra I brought with me is still unopened. Others says they've been asked over and over to provide sealed transcripts.

You can have copies made here, the only question is how many SEALED transcripts should you bring...I'd say 6. If you bring fewer, you'll need more; if you bring 6, you won't need any of them...
