MY heart's telling me to go to Vietnam. My wallet's telling me to go to Taiwan. Both may be wrong. I don't know how to vote.

So which one did you decide?

I haven't made any final decisions yet but suddenly the need to do so has become pressing. I was told tonight that my school will be closing at the end of the month. Do I go home for a visit? Do I take a trip to Thailand/Cambodia/Laos in December? I just don't know what to do at the moment. Hopefully tomorrow will have its key moments of mental clarity.

Well, if it would be me I'd go down to Thailand (and hey I'll be down there, and you can drink a beer or two with me!) Smile

Outside of that.. I'd say go with Saigon. Great time of year to be there as well. I mean December/January/February being the least hot of that hot country. Would be a good time to set yourself up. My friend who lived in Vietnam was saving a good chunk of money each money the same as here.

But ultimately, keep us informed.. the entire world is yours over the next month or two or so.. I'm envious Wink

Thanks for the positive spin on things. That's really what I needed to hear at the moment. The world IS my oyster.
