from visa section of HK embassy:
When applying the C4 visa for teaching in English camp which is less than 3 months, the requiring documents are the same with before -
1. the employment contract (signed by both parties)
2. the registration documents (copy) of the Korean institute for running the camp
3. the schedule of the English camp (marks the part which the teacher will participate in)
4. the certificate of degree of the applicant (original degree)
One additional requirement (effective from 2007.12.15) -
5. a certificate of "no criminal record" , which should be issued within the latest 3 months, from the concerning governmental departments of the applicant's national country. Or, its true copy with lawyer's authentication can be accepted if the original certificate of "no criminal record" cannot be submitted.
It takes 3 working days to process the visa in Hong Kong.
Our director faxed a Scottish local check which didn't say much more than "no record for the requested information" to HK and they OK'd it! |
