I'm back at work today.
The renovations at our school aren't finished so I taught in a different classroom.
The good news is the heating is on all day!
A Korean teacher came into my classroom and asked me why I wasn't going home (class had finished, it was around 1.20pm).
I saw an opportunity and said I would leave if it was okay. She decided to check with the V.P. and phone me back with an answer, the V.P. said I couldn't go due to my contract.
I thanked the Korean teacher for letting me know, but my initial reaction was, 'Drat and double drat!'
It was worth a try. |
