Anyone have a suit made recently? Does anyone know the current price range of an Itaewon custom made suit? I know it depends on material, but ballpark figures will sufice. Thanks

First hint: Avoid Itaewon.

Second Hint: There is a shop called "Dainty" near Samsung that makes a great suit. I think they still have their 2 for 1 deal at W380,000

I've had nothing but troubles with the suit I bought in Itaewon about 4 years ago -- I don't wear it much. Little white balls of stuffing are coming out of the shoulders, and the seams of the pants keep coming apart at the legs.

Call 02-569-7485.

There's one place in Itaewon that I recommend (and has been recommended a few times on styleforum.net): Hahns. It's at the end, around the corner, by Suji's.

Hahn's charges about 450k for a normal suit. It's a lot more than the other Itaewon places (but still absurdly cheap for bespoke--and it's actually custom, whereas other Itaewon joints are just made to measure and all contract the same sewing shop).

I have 3 Hahn suits and have worn them for over a year. They all look as good as the day I brought them home. Not Saville Row, but for 450k, I'm not complaining.
