|
|
My arrival date is coming up very soon and I've been thinking really hard about this question. What 2 bottles of alcohol should I bring for my homesick stash? I'm thinking 2 bottles of good scotch...probably macallans.
What 2 bottles would you bring? |

Actually, I think legally you are only allowed to bring a liter of liquor into the country duty free.
As for what, I always like to browse and look for something new. Liquor is definately expenisve here in Korea but at least you should be able to get most things here. |

I was told you are allowed 3 bottles, by the Manila duty free people.
1 bottle scotch
1 bottle Vanilla Absolut
1 bottle Taqurey gin
Thats what I would bring. |

It depends upon your port of departure.
Some places might be 1 liter, some 1.5, some 2 etc.
From Canada I usually bring a bottle of Canadian Club and a bottle of Kahlua. |

But customs never checks bags, so I'd carry more- I had a friend bring 8 bottles of wine from OZ.
Anyway, I'd bring:
DiSaronno Amaretto
Hazelnut liquer (can't remember the name- it's Italian, though)
... cuz I haven't seen either here in the ROK....... |

Good man. I'd go with a Lagavulin instead of the Talisker, myself...love the Islays. |
