Well, right now you have John M., Clinton and Mitt leading the race. All are pro-war. I don't know if the death of the Ron Paul candidacy is a good thing. Some new ideas are needed. |

More support coming in for Ron Paul.
As Ron Paul has once again defeated both Thompson and Giuliani, this time in the Michigan primary, more help is coming for Dr. Paul:
"On Tuesday Richard Viguerie, the noted conservative author, announced he's launching a new website to support Paul. Viguerie called Paul "truly a principled conservative in the grand tradition of Robert Taft, Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan.' "

An old, long dormant but once dominant side of the Republican Party is awakening and people who can join together to make a difference are joining.
Only 3 states have held a primary or caucus, with 3 different winners, and there is time for anything to happen.
Meanwhile, Giuliani's campaign is out of funds and he has stopped paying his staff. |

Ron Paul Campaign Concerned About Incorrect Caucus Location Information
Provided by the Nevada State Republican Party
Stewart Campbell
KOLO 8
Thursday, January 17, 2008
The Ron Paul presidential campaign has learned that thousands of Republican voters, including thousands of Ron Paul supporters, have received "incorrect" caucus location information from the Nevada State Republican Party.
Incorrect information about caucus locations has been given to voters throughout the state, specifically in Washoe and Clark, the two largest counties in the state.
Postcards sent to registered Republicans by the Nevada State GOP contained inaccurate caucus locations and the state GOP website caucus locator http://locator.nvgopcaucus.com was directing voters to inaccurate caucus locations until 6 pm Wednesday evening.

Paypal Freezes New Hampshire Recount Funds
Deadline missed as Granny Warriors' account is locked down
Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Wednesday, January 16, 2008
Paypal has frozen the fundraising account of the Granny Warriors, a Ron Paul supporters group who had been pushing for a recount in New Hampshire, causing a 3pm Tuesday deadline to be missed and the application rejected for lack of payment.
The Granny Warriors had raised the necessary $55,600 deposit for the recount but at the last minute before it was transferred to the New Hampshire Secretary of State, Paypal blocked access to the funds.
No explanation has been forthcoming from Paypal as to why the corporation froze the account
"Emergency efforts by our folks on the scene in New Hampshire to push the recount through the Secretarys office were not successful and a lot of frustration has been expressed on both sides as a result," writes a recount volunteer on the RonPaulWarRoom website.

Russia Wants To Ban Kremlin Opponent From Election
By Christian Lowe and Chris Baldwin
Thu Jan 24, 1:47 PM ET
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Kremlin critic Mikhail Kasyanov should be barred from Russia's presidential election, officials said on Thursday, a move likely to fuel criticism that authorities brook little real opposition.
Kasyanov has no chance of winning, but disqualifying him would remove an outspoken Kremlin foe from a contest the opposition says is already slanted in favor of Dmitry Medvedev, the man President Vladimir Putin has backed to succeed him.

The Paul Fundraising Machine Keeps Chugging
By Emily Cadei, CQ Staff
Fri Feb 1, 12:28 PM ET
Mitt Romney and John McCain may be fighting for the front-runner mantle in the Republican presidential race, but it's Texas Rep. Ron Paul who led the field in donor contributions last quarter, according to just-released campaign finance reports. On the back of two record-breaking days of online fundraising, Paul brought in $20 million during the October-through-December period, virtually all of it from individuals.
That's twice as much as either McCain or Romney collected from individuals in the same period --
$7 million for McCain and $9 million for Romney.
Romney took in the most money overall for the fourth quarter by virtue of an $18 million loan from his personal funds. For Paul, the cash influx pushed his total receipts for the year to $28.2 million, with $7.8 million in spending money going into 2008.
Paul is likely to get another significant financial boost today, thanks to a supporter-driven fundraising initiative to honor the candidate's 51st wedding anniversary and give him an edge going into the Super Tuesday primaries next week. This is just the latest in a series of "moneybombs" planned to demonstrate support for Paul; another is targeted for April 15, tax day.

Paul: Secretive Elite Control America
02-01-2008
Press TV
Presidential candidate Ron Paul says he traces America's problems to the flawed monetary policy of the wealthy and secretive elite.
During a speech at the University of Washington on Thursday, Paul said the Congress and the Federal Reserve will not be able to stem the recession spurred by the home mortgage meltdown.
"The most important thing you can do is nothing," said the Texas congressman, who voted against the recent $146 billion economic stimulus package passed by the US House of Representatives.
The 10-term Texas congressman maintained that a series of wrong economic decisions by the Bush administration has led to a recession.
The government should allow the market to correct itself, Paul added.
Although the mainstream media attempts to keep a low profile on the 72-year-old presidential hopeful, he has managed to find a staunch group of supporters who say he has captured their hearts with his 'message of freedom' and constitutionalism.
"The Constitution was written for one specific purpose and that was to restrain the government, not to restrain the people," Paul has said.

Well he is even more out of it then we thought. |
Never heard of the Federal Reserve? You know that group of private bankers who lends the government money to function and then collects interest on it. You ought to get out more. |

No Ron Paul spin.
US GDP 14 Trillion dollars.
The US has a problem with entitlements but that is not the fault of the federal reserve. |
And the trillions of dollars we have paid them in interest since 1913 have nothing to do with it, right? |
