I emailed GEPIK, I asked them which documents I'd need if I transferred to another public school in Gyeonggi in May or stayed at the same school.

They said if I transfer schools, I would need to fill in a GEPIK application form and get the relevant documents, presumably everything again from scratch.

If I stay at the same school, they told me I would just need a medical check and criminal records check.

I apologize if you knew this already but I'm confused by lots of information given out on this forum.

I am lazy and so I am tempted to just stay where I am.

Good to know. My GEPIK contract ends in May also. However, the expiration date on my E-2 visa is the end of Oct., 2008. I guess this is because I replaced someone who left when only 5 months into her contract. So, my contract is just for the remaining 7 months.

To stay at the same school (resign in April), GEPIK told me I didn't need the medical nor the criminal records check. Do they know what they are talking about?!?!?

I hope so. It was Dain Bae who emailed me with that answer.
