Lately I've been watching tons more TV
1) 'cos I've been sick and at home.
2) because the noise distracts me from dwelling on some other crappy life stuff that has recently befallen me boo hoo.
Anyway, these same ads seem to pop up and I'm kicking myself tryna figure out what they're for.
One is the "rushy and cashy" ads with the overenthusiastic girl handing out the pamphlets to people in toilet cubicles, etc. Some sort of finance job?
The other one is "Show" with this old guy and his entourage looking at pictures through a cellphone of pigs on the Jamsil highway I think he said. They all seem rather excited about the whole thing. Afterwards he hands out stuff to his boys and they chase the pigs down the road or something.
Does anyone know what they're all about? |

I don't know about the sceond one but the first is an advert for a loans company. I remember hearing that it had ties to the korean mafia too. |

Rusn n Cash are a Japanese company that loans money to people with extremely bad credit for stupidly high interest. In most cases, their interest is near 45% for people with bad credit.
What irritates me are the number of companies advertising on TV with these very presentable happy people dancing & talking (that "Won"derful commercial) to borrow money. These are essentially loan sharks for the weakest & most desperate.
This country has a MASSIVE problem with debt. Dont' believe the hype you read in the media about people having money to burn. They get it by borrowing & bailing on their loans. Then after their credit is destroyed, they use another family member...& so on till the family is totally borked.
At times I see these commercials...I really do think **Sparkling**

yeh, those loan sharks are the scum of the Earth, man.
I just saw the "Show" ad again and I think it mite be some sort of CCTV link direct to your cellphone meaning you can see traffic conditions in various parts of the city in real time.
Crazy though, everyone always yells there lungs out in Korean ads.
Especially the Shinhan Love Card ad. "SHINHAN LOB CARD!!!!"

| They should hire those Russian Cashy girls as repossessors. That would make a great installment in their commercial series. |

Yes.
As others in this thread have mentioned the Rush N' Cash commercials are for a loan company that provides loans to high-risk (low creditability) individuals at an outrageously high interest rate.
The "Show" commercials are advertising the offshoot branch of some cell phone company (I think it's KTF) that specializes in 3G phones that can be used for phone to phone video calls (thus a "Show"). |

THANK YOU for asking. I was about to post about the Rush Cash thing too, because it was really bothering me. It's on almost constantly, but I could never figure out the whole tissue-handing-out-thing and what they were selling/promoting. And "wonderful" too?? I am learning so much tonight.
Gotta love how the commercials apparently are all loan sharks or shopping-related. Oh, and tea. |

| The commercial where they're handing out tissues apparently scared a lot of TV viewers. Personally I liked the commercial where the girl goes home after the end of a telemarketing shift and she lost her voice so her mother won't let her in the front gate. |

the more tele I watch the more I realise how much it's absolutely saturated with loan ads. There's gotta be at least 1 every ad break.
"Wonderful"
"Rush and cash"
-some woman with an engaging smile and a breezy voice pouring honey in your ear as she sends you deeper into the red. "전화주세요"

I see a lot of ads with figures like 7%-48%. I'm thinking, damn, that must be another finance company.
ha...our discussion of what becomes of a cute girl that hands pamphlets out in a men's toilet has been deleted. oh well...jedi sex doesn't go down to well huh |
