Try to meet with someone and have them explain to you about streaming videos......

www.ABC.com

you can watch news segments and ABC shows from this site.

www.NBC.com

I just previewed this site and the news segments here look pretty good.

I am not sure if they took it off the air for good, but people used to be able to watch American news and programs on the US military channel called AFN. They sometimes showed news segments from all the syndicated channels in the states.

TT,

The networks block all streaming video on their sites outside of the US, probably to prevent programs from being resold via burnable DVD and CDrom disks. The only possible way around it is a proxy server, but I've never gotten it to work. This would be a better questions for the Tech forum.

I've used TVU in the past and wasn't too impressed with it. Granted it's free, so what can you expect. However, it's not worth the hassle of the slow feed. Then again, I haven't used it for about a year, maybe it has gotten better since then.
