Get ready now for what's shaping up to be a sweltering summer with this fantastic room cooling system! Like new -- Perfect for apartments without air conditioning. Filter system cleans the air as it cools. It really works! Comes with two ice packs and a remote. Only 85,000 won.

No, the ice just helps it cool the air more quickly.

Hi, i'm interested in your a/c....

i have a few questions: do you mind telling how much you paid for this new? have you used it for a summer, and if so, did it keep your place cool? also, what's the difference between this and a regular a/c. sorry, i've only seen the kind that have an exhaust to the outside, and have never seen an indoor model like this.

oh... and where do you live if we want to pick-up?
thanks!

I used this only for one summer, so it is practically new. It will cool down a room quite nicely. This is not an air conditioner (that is, there is no freon, no need for an outside fan, etc.), but an air cooler, which cools by forcing air over cold water, saving significant energy costs.

So what you're saying is on a hot and humid day this bad boy will not remove humidity from the air..... and you'll probably want to save the ice packs for your bath tub which your body shall be immersed into to escape said heat?

No, what I'm saying is it works well, it's quite a bargain, and I'd be happy to sell it to anyone who is interested in staying cool this summer but doesn't want to lay out the cash to buy an air conditioner.

LOL ... I know I'm going to take a bath on this, but I won't go that low. It does work good, after all.

If I can't sell it at 30k, it goes to my wife's cousin. Have some pity! Razz
