i think a lot of the ladies here would look more attractive if they didnt butcher their hair styles and dress in ruffled clown clothes.

A lot more conformist than where I'm from but a lot fewer fashion mistakes--at least on the under 60 crowd.

It's not all bad. A trend toward garishness. On the otherhand, looking around a subway car I see a lot of pople in solid greys and blacks.

It would be nice if they could figure out how to match. This weekend I spotted a woman wearing tiny little short shorts--plaid. Well, houndstooth to be exact. Then she was wearing black candy-striped tights (best way to describe them), brown boots, and a blue polka dotted shirt.

No lie.

The girls may look well put-together, but if you spend more than 3 seconds looking at them, you see the truth.

Seriously, are ALL Koreans color blind?

It's too uniform and conservative. Everyone looks the same and whilst the clothes in general are nice and good quality, they're - well - BORING! Both the clothes and the way Koreans seem to match items together in general.

Japan is the most fashionable place in Asia hands down, those guys look funky.

i think it looks better on the men than on the women.

and there's not a lot of variety. it's boring seeing those same clothes in slightly different colours after a few months.

I'm quite fond of the pink cardigan and pin-striped black trousers combination that I've seen some of the dudes wear. Also, the black shirt and white tie look is one that we'll all be crazy about soon, mark my words.

Already been done. In Hairspray among others, if I remember correctly.

It's thinly disguised copying of Japanese fashion, usually half a year behind the times.

Despite the fashion disasters, I do appreciate that women try to look half-decent. What bigger fashion disaster is there than the slobbery you see back home most of the time? Most women are definitely trying too hard, though - and the men aren't trying hard enough! Or worse yet, maybe they are... cannot get past the metrosexuality and pink on men.
