Have you got this running on your ipod and what format does it stream?

I do the same thing on my eeePC with a bigger screen, play any video/audio format and even browse the internet at the same time. It'll also output video to a secondary monitor or projector too.

When you can put it in your pocket I'll be interested.

Edit: I mean, honestly, my computer does loads of things that my mp3 player doesn't. Do you know why? Because one is a freaking computer and one is an mp3 player.

Yes I know one is a freaking computer and the other is a freaking trying to be a computer, so guess which one is better.

And you still haven't answered my first question - have you got eyeTV running on your ipod and what formats does it stream.

And yes I need wifi to be in my pocket and when I'm on the top of Mt. Sol-Ak. Rolling Eyes

Stop being a jackass. If you honestly wanted to know what format it plays, I'm sure you could have googled the answer in the same amount of time it took you to write up your "my PC is better than Thunndarr's mp3 player" post.

You still haven't answered my questions.

I don't have time to google, that's why suckers like you should do that for us.

You really need to instruct yourself in the art of the insult. For one, a good insult shouldn't contradict itself. I mean honestly. Claiming you don't have enough time to google something while writing meaningless posts on a message board? Clearly, you do have the time, but apparently not the brain power.

As for your questions...Well, I've got some for you. Can you fit the eeePC in your pocket? How much memory does it have? How much does it cost? Do you carry it with you all the time? What's the battery life?

But, apparently I'm a sucker because I'm brand agnostic and bought a device that does exactly what I need it to do. Yep, I'm the dummy here.

Jesus this is like one of those Schwarzenegger moments "who is your daddy and what does he do". Rolling Eyes No need to go all personal on me, at least if that is what you're trying to do.

I'm merely replying on my wireless handset in between breaks so no loss of time for me at this end and certainly no time for googling stuff that you should be doing. Like I said, I don't have time to google for stuff on ipods, that's why suckers like you should do that for us.

And you still haven't answered any of my initial questions, you must be completely defeated. Hopefully the third time around would have given you enough time to accumulate a fantastic list of the video/audio formats supported by the ipod and you can be done, simple really.

I didn't want to turn this into a "my gadget is better than your gadget", but yes the Asus eeePC is the best gadget I have ever bought.

Yeah, you weren't trying to turn this into a pissing contest at all.

Now, if you can't see how someone could read that and construe it as you trying to proclaim your gadget is better, then you are either an idiot or a liar. Take your pick.

Defeated? Jesus Christ, you are a piece of work. Get back to me about battery life and I'll be happy to provide you with a list of the formats it supports.

Edit: removed an L.
