Is the DVD player region-free?

If so, I'm definitely interested (I'd PM you, but I don't have the required 25 posts).

Hello all.

The DVD player has been sold. But a friend has asked me to sell hers as well, so I'll be putting another up in the next few days. This one, I believe is a region-free Emerson.
