Anyone catch BBC's IT Crowd? Not quite The Office. The first couple eps you sort of need to get past. The Moss character initially strikes you as a terribly done stereotype. But hang in there. The writers have no scared cows. Season 2 really hits its stride. The ep about the German cannibal (I did say there are no sacred cows) I think is the best I've seen.

| Saw it. All two seasons. It did hit a few good high notes. Some surprises and good writing throughout. |

its a fantastic series!!
if you havent already, you should check out "black books", its from the same writer and its much better!! |

not that it makes any difference but its a channel 4 not bbc show
really funny though for a straight sitcom. a couple of moments in the second season made me laugh so much it hurt. ( the 'i'm disabled' and 'when can i talk about my bra?' episodes. )
its a show that should of made it onto that british tv thread, i'm not sure if it did. |

I really tried to get into that one and couldn't. I'll try again after IT Crowd. The Office has really set a high bar and it's hard to sort of come down from that. |

green wing was quality but i wish they had never made the second season a lot of crap writing made the likeable characters unlikeable because of their stupid decisions. and it just wasnt funny. Kind of opposite to it crowd which got better IMO.
Its really only good because of this guy though.
he just makes every show that he is in... Nathan Barley, Dark Place.... |

Richard Ayoade.
He was excellent in the Nannageddon episode of the bad second series of the Mighty Boosh. He also was in the radio version of the Boosh. Missed out on Nathan Barley, will have to get hold of it.
That's why the IT crowd seemed to be such a disappointment especially with the cast and writers that it had. |
