|
|
I just downloaded the new EP by The Smashing Pumpkins and wanted to listen to it so I load up the folder and I get the "find codec" pop-up. Gom can't find the codec.
Strangely if I click on the files one by one they play and I can hear them. However importing a folder or using a playlist doesn't work. (only with this folder).
Any ideas? |

No solution here.
I got the same message when I try to watch a DVD with GomPlayer.
I just changed to PowerDVD player or VLC. |

Try KM Player as an alternative as it plays more video/audio and smoother too (though I prefer GOM because the navigation buttons are bigger).
Or make an enquiry on the GOM forum as it could be a bug with the current version or they may have the codecs you need. |

Try uninstalling the gom player and reinstall it. I only recently realised that gom has a completely English version.
I find Gom vastly superior to Windows media player.
Also, the VLC player, free from the internet, is a small and excellent player. |
