| Has anyone gone horseback riding in Korea? Not some mini, guide-led little trail riding. Something independent and substantial. I'd appreciate any tips. If not in Korea, elsewhere in Asia? |

Are there free ranges anywhere in Korea nowadays?
Lonely Planet mentions nothing about them. The Moon Handbook says on Jejudo there are a couple places near jJungmun and San'gumburi that let you ride "Jeju ponies." 20,000 won for 30 minutes, all gentle, guided and no galloping.
There was a family on Jejudo on the beach just north of Hallim beach offering rides on the beach, very gentle, not what you are looking for.
