| lessons legally? This is very desirable since I hear in Japan since you are allowed to teach privates you can bank big time. They say Japan's cost of living is much higher but with privates included you might be able to come on top. Has anyone here taught in Japan. Is the cost of living steeper than that of Korea? |

Yes, especially transportation costs (subways, taxis and trains).
You'd need a mess of privates to bank a lot of coin. Rates for privates are not through the roof like in Korea. Here, you might get hourly rates of 50-70-000 per hour, but there's not way you'll get 5-7,000 yen an hour in Japan. Y4,000 if you're lucky. |
